We like having fun, we love having a laugh or two, and we’re here to help you embark on the right path for the rest of your spiritual journey – whether you’re just starting it or you’re moving onto a new chapter of your life. Of course, as with any family, someone has to hold everyone together. Here you’ll meet some of the key leaders at Inspire Church Albany.
Don and Julia McDonell
Don and Julia are the Senior Pastors at Inspire Church Albany – but they’re the first to admit that they wouldn’t be here without the incredible team around them. Serving in ministry for more than 20 years now, Don and Julia are passionate about people and God, and combining the two to see God glorified in people’s lives.
Wayne Thomas
Inspire Church doesn’t just focus on the people within the building’s four walls; we also have a lot to do with the North Shore community. Wayne oversees community outreach, public events and the food bank.
Janine Thomas
Janine heads up the Teaching and Training ministry at Inspire Church, and looks after a huge range of courses designed to better equip Christians for their spiritual journey ahead in spiritual, theoretical and practical ways, regardless of how long they’ve been walking with God.
Mike Hadwin
Mike is Inspire Church’s Business Manager. He has been married to Carol for over 30 years and they have 3 adult children. A chartered accountant and pastor, Mike believes the finance & business elements of the church should be transparent and easily understood.
Cam and Trish Parker
Cam and Trish are passionate about the people who call Inspire Church their home, and they oversee the Connect Ministry which brings people together to develop stronger relationships with each other and with God.
Jesse Kelly
Jesse leads the Creative Team, which covers everything from singing and performance, right through to video production and technical. Passionate about everything creative and hands-on, Jesse infectious personality will inspire you to glorify God through your God-given creativity.
Adam Frost
Adam lives for the youth of the North Shore. He is passionate about revealing the goodness of God to youth, and creating a fun and vibrant environment through close friendships and spiritual guidance.
Kristy Vitali
The head of Administration and Pastor Don’s personal assistant, Kristy knows everything that goes on in and around Inspire Church Albany.
Stephanie Altman
Stephanie is Inspire Church Albany's friendly receptionist. If you have any questions regarding anything to do with Inspire Church Albany get in touch with Stephanie in the office and she will direct you to the right people to help.
Tricia Webb
Tricia oversees the Pastoral department, including prayer and healing ministries. Committed to encouraging individuals’ spiritual journeys, Tricia is your go-to lady if you need prayer or spiritual guidance.
Martin and Rachael Dew
The leaders of the Kids’ Church ministry, Martin and Rachael are passionate about your children and kicking off their spiritual journey in a positive, fun and innovative way.
Chris & Nicky Westerdaal
Chris and Nicky are committed to making people feel happy and welcome at Inspire Church, which is reflected through their willing serving attitude in the Hospitality Team.
